It is worth to read the old manuscripts of the Becherbach Parish Register again after some time when one has got more familiar with the hand writing. So I have to make some corrections, printed in bold, to earlier readings. The most important change on this page is that we can can give Johannet Elisabeth's date of birth now, it is 27 March 1673 .

Maria Appollonia anno 1675 umb Petri gebohren und nach Verfließung 4 Wochen gestorben.

Elisabetha Catherina anno 1676 den 26ten Jan gebohren und den 29 getaufft. Patten waren Michel Riehl, Gode Catharina Jacob Fritzen und Elisabeth Johannes Scherers Frau.

Anna Barbara anno 1680 den 21ten Augusti morgens umb 5 Uhr gebohren und den 22ten getaufft. Paten waren Nicloß Riehl und Johannes Dollwaldt von Meckenbach, Gode Anna Barbara Johann Nickel Schuppen undt Elisabeth Barbara Hanß Jacob Übels und Anna Margretha Johannes Wöllsteins Fraw.

Oben gemerkte Elisabet Catarina haht den 15. Märtz 1698 ein uneheliches Söhnlein geboren welches den 18. dito in Ohtzweiler ist getaufet geworden, genent Johannes. Zeugen waren Johannes Scherer von Limbach, Johannes Carg von Limbach, Anna Juliana Catarina nachgelasene Tochter von Johann Jacob Fritz in sein Leben Ambtschultheissen.

Johannet Elisabeth is born 1673 in the Passion Week on Monday [7] and baptized same week in Becherbach. Godfathers were Joh. Nickel Gaist Sieger schoolporter and Johannes Adami, godmother Johanna wife of my parson and Elisabeth wife of Niclass Römer and Maria Elisabeth the father's sister.

Maria Appollonia born 1675 on St. Peter's Day [1] and died after lapse of 4 weeks.

Elisabetha Catherina born on 26th January 1676 and baptized on the 29th. Godfathers were Michel Riehl [2], godmother Catharina wife of Jacob Fritz and Elisabeth wife of Johannes Scherer.

Anna Barbara born on 21st August 1680 in the morning at 5 o'clock and baptized on the 22th. Godfathers were Nicloss Riehl [3] and Johannes Dollwaldt from Meckenbach [4], godmothers Anna Barbara wife of Johann Nickel Schupp and Elisabeth Barbara wife of Hanss Jacob Übel and Anna Margretha wife of Johannes Wöllstein.

Above noted Elisabet Catarina has born an illegitimate little son on 15th March 1698 who was baptized on the 18th dito in Ohtzweiler [5], named Johannes. Sponsors were Johannes Scherer from Limbach, Johannes Carg from Limbach, Anna Juliana Catarina dependent daughter of Johann Jacob Fritz in his life Ambtschultheiss [6].
