It is worth to read the old manuscripts of the Becherbach Parish Register again after some time when one has got more familiar with the hand writing. So I have to make some corrections, printed in bold, to earlier readings. The most importatnt change on this page is that Hanß Heinrich's wife Susanna was nee "Becker" instead of "Brihans".

Maria Elisabetha, welche Anno 1649 zu Sobernheim gebohren, sein Patt Jacob Hebell, Godt Maria Ließbeth Thomas Miltbergers Haußfraw.

Elisabetha Catrina ist Anno 1653 zu Becherbach allhier gebohren, sage Anno 1653 den 1ten Sontag im Märtz laut des alten Kirchenbuchs. Dessen Patten sindt: Hanß Michel Wagner und Stoffel Scherer, Goden Catarina Sebastian Nicolaus Hausfraw und Elisabeth Joh. Höckers damalige hierigen Müllers Hausfrl.

Niclaus ist gebohren zu Becherbach Anno 1654 den 13ten Augusti getaufft. Sein Patten und Goten sindt Niclaus Schneider und Niclaus Römer, Apollonia Lucas Dillen und Haab Otell.

Hanß Heinrich, who was born 1646 in Meisenheim [1] was married on 9th January 1666 to Susanna, legal daughter of Simon Becker from Sijnd [2].

Maria Elisabetha, who was born 1649 in Sobernheim [3]. Her godfather Jacob Hebell, godmother Maria Ließbeth wife of Thomas Miltberger.

Elisabetha Catrina is born 1653 here in Becherbach, say on the 1st Sunday of March 1653 according to the old parish register [4]. Her godfathers are: Hanß Michel Wagner and Stoffel Scherer, godmothers Catarina wife of Sebastian Nicolaus and Elisabeth wife of Joh. Höcker, the former miller of this place.

Nicolaus is born in Becherbach and baptized on 13th August 1654. His godfathers and godmothers are Niclaus Schneider and Niclaus Römer, Apollonia of Lucas Dill [5] and Haab Otell.
