Reinsport was a small town under administration of Emmell . It is tempting, but also questionable, to identify this person (or Theiß Ruell of Emmell) with our Mattheiß. We assume that Mattheiß was born between 1605 and 1610, so he was probably to young to pay taxes in 1624.
